The 1st LiveLoopists Meeting is promoted by LoopLab – Live Looping Laboratory – and aims to provide a platform for dialogue between performers using Live Loops in their musical performances. Starting at 10 AM, the event will include 7 performers presenting lecture-recitals of approximately 60 minutes each (the presentations will be followed by a short debate). The invited performers are collaborators in a post-doctoral research project led by Alex Duarte, an integrated researcher at INET-md. As a result of this event, the participants expect to edit and publish a book, each authoring a chapter related to the work they have developed and presented.
