Masterclasses

  1. There are two forms of registration: Active Participant or Observer;
  2. Maximum number of Active Participants in each masterclass: 4;
  3. Maximum number of observers in each masterclass: unlimited, subject to the capacity of the auditorium;
  4. Duration of each individual masterclass: 45 (forty-five) minutes;
  5. The registration fee for Active Participants is €80 (eighty euro); the registration fee for Observers is €20 (twenty euro). [Obs.: Active Participants can attend all other masterclasses as Observers]
  6. A jury will select the Active Participants based on the evaluation of the following: video audition, motivational letter and biography/short CV;
  7. Those wishing to register as Active Participant should complete the registration form, which will include:
  • a link (public or private) to an unedited video, featuring 5 – 10 minutes of your performance of the repertoire of your choosing;
  • a motivational letter (200 words approx.), explaining your motives for applying;
  • Short biography;
  1. Following the evaluation process, four (4) Active Participants will be selected for the masterclasses. A further four (4) applicants will be placed on a waiting list and notified. Should any of the four (4) selected Active Participants be unable to perform during the masterclass, the applicants on the waiting list will be considered. Selected students will be contacted regarding the payment method;
  2. Registration dates:
    • Active Participant – from June 19thto August 17th, 2019;
    • Observer – from June 19thto October 27th, 2019;
  3. The selected Active Participants must pay the registration fee no later than September 17th.  Should the payment not have been received by the Symposium organisers by this date, your participation will be cancelled and the first placed performer on the waiting list will be called to participate;
  1. In the case of cancellations on or after September 17ht, 2019, the Organisers will not be in a position to refund any payments;

Masterclasses

1 – Existem duas modalidades de alunos: Executante e Ouvinte;

2 – Limite de alunos para a modalidade Executante: 4 (quatro) alunos;

3 – Limite de alunos para a modalidade Ouvinte: sem limite;

4 – Duração de cada aula: 45 (quarenta e cinco) minutos;

5 – Os valores são de 80€ (Oitenta euros) para Executante e de 20€ (vinte euros) para Ouvinte. [Obs: Executantes podem frequentar todas as masterclasses como ouvintes]

6 – As inscrições para executante serão selecionadas por um júri que avaliará: prova musical por vídeo, carta motivacional e biografia;

7 – Os alunos que pretendam participar como executante devem preencher a ficha onde deverão incluir:

7.1 – Link para vídeo não editado (público ou privado) onde interpretarão 5 a 10 minutos de música à sua escolha;

7.2 – Texto (com cerca 200 palavras) explicitando os motivos da sua inscrição;

7.3 – Breve biografia;

8 – Serão selecionados 4 (quatro) alunos executantes efetivos e, adicionalmente, 4 (quatro) alunos executantes suplentes que poderão passar a efetivos em caso de desistência dos primeiros selecionados. Os alunos selecionados serão contactados atempadamente acerca da forma de pagamento;

9 – Datas para inscrição:

9.1 – Executante – de 19 de Junho até 17 de Agosto de 2019;

9.2 – Ouvinte – de 19 de Junho até 27 de Outubro de 2019;

10 – Os alunos selecionados deverão efetuar o pagamento da sua inscrição até 17 de Setembro. Em caso de não pagamento dentro do prazo anunciado, a sua inscrição será anulada e a sua vaga será cedida ao primeiro aluno suplente da lista de avaliação;

11 – Em caso de desistência após pagamento não haverá lugar a reembolso;
